The exact same thing happened to me when I first stumbled across this one.
It's a Flaminia SuperSport Zagato that was at a classic car rally that stopped in my old uni. A little bit more aggressive than the early Zagatos, although either would be fantastic.

I saw one at dinner time walking from school to the park across the road, its drove past and I literally stopped still to watch it as it went past, and didn't start walking again until after it had gone from my view. I had never heard of it before so part of it was trying to find out as many clues as I could about what it was and part just how gorgeous it was. I prefer the early one, the later one is good but doesn't have the cleanness of the earlier car
